Ruinart Second Skin Rosé Champagne (0.75l) in gift packaging

To adequately celebrate the Maison's efforts to reduce waste, the packaging of the new Ruinart Second Skin Rosé is completely plastic-free. Made from sustainably sourced paper composite, it is fully recyclable. Archives show that Ruinart shipped the first Rosé Champagne over 250 years ago. Even today, this Rosé, with its intense aromas of red fruits, is one of the finest of its kind.

Assemblage and origin:
The elegance of Ruinart Rosé comes from the marriage of the Chardonnay grapes (45%, from the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims), which are characteristic of Ruinart's style, with Pinot Noir (55%, from the Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne). The grapes are mainly sourced from Premier Cru vineyards. 20–25% of the assemblage are reserve wines, 18–19% of the total amount is Pinot Noir vinified as red wine. This is how the intensely golden-pink shimmering Champagne gets its heavenly fruit aroma.

Color:
Pomegranate pink champagne with light orange reflections and fine, delicious perlage.

Aroma:
Subtle fruit aromas with a hint of cherry and notes of freshly picked red berries.

Taste:
Wonderfully fresh on the palate, this Rosé unfolds a smooth, round and silky structure with intense aromas of red fruits, mild spice and a hint of mint.

Menu suggestions:
Salmon sashimi or tuna tartare provide the perfect start for this complex, full-bodied Rosé.
For the main course, the Rosé also pairs well with a juicy piece of roast lamb – in miso marinade, of course, to stay true to the Japanese theme. The delicious freshness of the champagne also comes out excellently with roast duck with a redcurrant reduction.
