The Diamond SV 15 y.o. Whisky Finish Rum originates from the famous Demerara region in Guyana. The roots of Demerara Distillers Ltd., to which the Diamond Distillery belongs, date back to the 17th century. Matured tropically as well as continentally, in Bourbon and (for 36 months) in whisky casks, this bottling is rounder and oilier than other rums from the same distillery, has an almost tarry note, a slightly musty hint and lush, dark notes of dried figs and raisins. It is particularly well suited as an after-dinner rum or as an accompaniment to an intense cigar.
