- Nose: warm smoke wafts around a campfire, fragrant chestnuts on glowing logs, the sweetness of honey mead, followed by malty beer aromas and some yeast dough, a hint of tree resin
- Palate: A peppery, alcoholic arrival, followed by honey, mead and biscuit dough, then spicy, malty roast flavours, resinous notes and a delicate nuttiness, with a warm smoky note running underneath
- Finish: Medium-long and warming, with a little smoke and cocoa powder, turning dry with woody notes
