This 10yo peated Bunnahabhain matured for almost 10 years in a Bourbon Cask before being transferred to a Malaga Cask for another 5 months, where it received its final touch.

Nose: A distinct honey sweetness and vanilla alternate with peat aromas, a hint of farm, salty notes, smoldering campfire and spices, followed by apple, heather, wine-like fruitiness, tobacco and hay
Palate: soft and oily on the initial taste, the intense sweetness of honey and vanilla crescents is carried away by a wave of spicy peat smoke, followed by a peppery, spicy and maritime sensation: oat biscuits with a little chili, finely spiced fruit notes and campfire on the beach, replaced by peanuts, dried fruit and a hint of tobacco
Finish: medium-long and slightly dry, with a portion of smoky muesli, dark chocolate with sea salt, warm ash and a final spark from the campfire
CONCLUSION: An honest Islay Malt with a spicy-fruity twist!
