Taittinger Nocturne Sec

Taittinger Nocturne is a champagne for late evenings. It pairs well with desserts as well as foie gras with gingerbread, but can also accompany all champagne lovers and night owls until the early hours of the morning.

Taste:
Taittinger Nocturne adorns itself with a pale yellow color with shimmering reflections. The perlage forms a delicate and fine string of bubbles. Subtle and delicate on the nose, the wine develops delicious aromas of white flowers and ripe fruits (yellow peach and dried apricot). The initial taste is soft and creamy, yet always very fresh. On the palate, the taste of raisins and candied fruits unfolds. The long finish is characterized by a very pleasant and delicious sweetness.

Production:
Taittinger Nocturne is a dry champagne consisting of 40% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, and 30% Pinot Meunier. It is blended from around thirty different crus and several harvests and aged for at least four years before disgorgement. The so-called Dosage Sec (17.5 g/l cane sugar) and maturation through slow cellar aging give this wine its balance and sweetness.

Serving suggestion:
Ideal as an accompaniment to liver pâtés, creamy desserts, nut brittle, crispy fruit tarts with pears, peaches, apricots, or even as a standalone, Nocturne Sec adds a touch of glamour.
