Tamdhu builds on the success of the first Cigar Malt: The new Tamdhu Cigar Malt II bottling is a tribute to the traditional pleasure combination of cigar and whisky. The Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky has a robust flavor profile that stands up to the finest cigars and complements their rich aroma.
Non-chill filtered and bottled at 53.8% vol., the whisky mimics the spice, aroma, and mouthfeel of aged tobacco leaves. The result: a diverse texture and robust flavor.
 
As is typical for the whisky distillery from the banks of the River Spey, the new Cigar Malt also matured in selected First Fill European Oak Sherry Casks, previously seasoned with Oloroso fortified wine. Tamdhu has been relying on these Andalusian casks since its founding in 1897. For several years, the distillery's Speyside Single Malts have matured exclusively in Oloroso Sherry Casks – a cornerstone for the intense, fruity taste and natural color depth of the whiskies.
