Nose: Strong sherry aromas of raisins, dark grapes, and raspberries are followed by a honeyed sweetness with freshly sawn wood and plenty of milk chocolate.
Palate: Dark fruits, overripe plums, and Jaffa Cake transition to burnt hazelnuts, juicy blood orange, and a hint of coconut.
Finish: The sherry notes linger for a relatively long time. Afterwards, some leather and unburnt tobacco are perceptible. Traces of licorice and tree resin, as well as various spices, round off the whisky.
