Wemyss Vintage Malts is a family business from Edinburgh. The Wemyss family has a long tradition, inextricably linked with Scottish history. Barley for whisky production has always been grown on the grounds of Wemyss Castle, the historic family seat in Fife, and is highly valued by leading distilleries. Today, the Wemyss family is passionately dedicated to whisky itself and distinguishes itself as an independent bottler with a unique aroma concept. The series of three HANDCRAFTED MALTS typically represents one of the three main aromas of Scottish malt – sweet, spicy, smoky – each a composition of various renowned single malts.
