On the nose, figs and apricots mingle with gentle notes of peat smoke. A hint of vanilla and oak is also present.
On the palate, it shows an enormous depth of flavour. Honey-infused porridge meets apple compote and sultanas. The peat brings a touch of warmth, while soft oak spices, cinnamon, cloves and ginger are also present, all overlaid by a wonderful sherry sweetness.
The finish does not disappoint. Dried fruit and caramel aromas linger until the end, overlaid by a hint of persistent peat smoke.
