It's been a while - when whisky was last distilled in Thurso, Alfred Nobel had just invented dynamite... "Reawakening the spirit of Scotland's rugged north shore" - in the same location, from 1821 to the 1860s, there was a distillery of the same name. They also share the water source, the Wolfburn. Today's Wolfburn Distillery is the northernmost on the Scottish mainland and has been in operation since 2013. Traditional production meets modern know-how. Distillery Manager Shane Fraser brings over 25 years of experience and distills a typical Northern Highland Single Malt. Join us in welcoming the first whisky from this young and independent distillery.
